Systems that get proper seasonal attention rarely fail catastrophically. Most breakdowns trace back to small issues that went unnoticed for months, before they become an emergency.
A pattern shows up again and again in emergency calls we take in Carmel Valley — a maintenance gap somewhere, a neglected filter, a dirty coil, a capacitor degrading for months. A regular Hvac Maintenance schedule is how these get caught before becoming a no-heat or no-cool emergency.
What a real tune-up includes, not just a filter swap.
You get documented readings, so you can track trends over time.
Being on the plan moves you ahead, which matters most in the first heat wave or cold snap.
Spring focuses on cooling prep, fall on heating prep, covering both systems fully so nothing gets overlooked.
Members receive reduced rates on parts and labor for discovered repairs.
Everything checked during a comprehensive maintenance visit.
Both coils get cleaned and checked for corrosion or bent fins that quietly cut efficiency over a season.
We test under load before they strand you with a no-start call.
We check against spec, before it becomes a full failure.
We check both together.
Thermostat accuracy gets verified and corrected if it's drifted if it's affecting comfort or cycling.
We clear the line and test the float switch, a leading cause of both water damage and shutdowns.

Signed up after a rough summer with two breakdowns. Since then it's been two full years of tune-ups without a single unplanned service call.

Spring visit found a blower motor bearing starting to wear out well before it would've failed on its own. Replaced it on our schedule, not an emergency one.

Manage four rental units and the plan means I don't have to think about HVAC until the report shows up twice a year. Huge time saver.
— O. Mbeki, property investor
Technician actually explained what the numbers on the report meant instead of just handing me a page of readings I couldn't interpret.
